2nd Annual Hook For Homes Fishing Derby

June 1—July 6, 2018

It’s back and better than ever! Last year the Hook for Homes Fishing Derby raised $16,000 dollars to help Habitat Cape Cod’s home building program. 

This year the derby will run from June 1st through July 6th, 2018 and only include saltwater species.  The targeted species will be black sea bass, striped bass and bluefish.  All participants must have a Massachusetts fishing license and comply with state fishing regulations.  

What are the divisions and categories?

Age: the derby will be broken out into adult fishermen (16 years and older), junior fishermen (15 years and younger)

How do I win?

Winners for longest fish, striped bass, black sea bass, bluefish in each category, will be announced on July 7th at our Awards Celebration at Aselton Park, Hyannis. This is a catch and release derby.
