Front Counter Sales
The Front Counter Sales position is responsible for all walk in sales, call-in sales, order processing, and quoting. The Salesperson develops in-depth knowledge of all Shepley's products, and is able to provide information and advice to our customers as needed.
Greet customers as they enter the building.
Provide customers with correct product information and pricing.
Maintain hardware supplies and product information catalogues.
Follow-up and follow-through on quotes and orders.
Process orders and special orders for delivery.
Provide Operations team with necessary information to complete deliveries accurately and in a timely manner.
Troubleshoot problems as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Monday-Friday: 7am – 5pm; Alternating Saturdays
- Repetitive stooping, twisting
- Repetitive squatting, kneeling
- Prolonged standing, walking
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter with high energy.
- Computer literate.
- Ability to explain company policies and special order processes clearly.
- Ability to learn the product.
High School Diploma.
