Andersen Outside Sales

The Andersen Outside Sales position is responsible for collaborating with external and internal customers on quoting, ordering and servicing Andersen Windows and Doors. The Salesperson is responsible for maintaining an existing customer base as well as prospecting new business. The Salesperson provides leadership, direction, and knowledge to the Inside Sales team.

Responsibilities include:

Maintain customer relationships and schedule regular visits for calling on accounts.

Prospect new accounts to increase architect and builder customer base.

Address all customer issues and concerns in a timely fashion.

Be aware of building activities within sales territory.

Stay on top of new products as they become available from vendors. Help customers understand all aspects of the product and ensure customer satisfaction at the end of the job.

Set pricing levels for accounts.

Generate take-offs.

Supervise and monitor inside support team, including ensuring that quotes and orders are followed up on regularly.

Meet monthly sales goals.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Mon-Fri: 7am – 5pm; Some Saturdays

Travel by car.

  • Sitting for long periods of time
  • Prolonged standing, walking
  • Lifting over 50 pounds

  • 5 – 10 years of window and door sales experience; minimum of 2-years road sales experience.
  • Conscientious with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Computer aptitude and willingness to learn product and computer systems.

High School Diploma; college degree preferred but not mandatory.
