Andersen is pleased to announce two new product designs, which enhance the operation and performance of many of their popular gliding patio doors.
A new interlock weatherstrip design became available June 8th for A-Series Frenchwood®, 400 Series Frenchwood and 200 Series Narroline® gliding patio doors.
A new sill block design is now available for 400 Series Frenchwood, 200 Series Narroline and 200 Series Perma-Shield® gliding patio doors.
New Interlock Weatherstripping is an exciting product design that reduces the bounce back a homeowner may experience when closing their Andersen® gliding patio door. Details of the offering are:
The new interlock weatherstrip system, at meeting stiles, uses a flexible sealing flap design.
For factory assembled gliding patio doors the product looks nearly identical to the current design.
For knock down frame kits the enhanced interlock weatherstrip is included in the kits.
New installation instructions clarify how to assemble the interlock to the stationary panel.
It is possible to replace an older interlock with a new interlock on existing products.
A service kit and service installation guide are available.
New Sill Blocks provide an improved connection between the side jambs and the sill. Details of the offering are:

For knock down frame kits, the sill block comes pre-installed on the sills
