Andersen Corporation has taken the lead in our market by providing products that your business can benefit from. The Shepley Showcase displays the most up–to-date window offerings of the core Andersen products, which consists of: 400 Series Tiltwash; Woodwright; Casement; and Awning. NEW exterior color choices now include Canvas and Dark Bronze to compliment the core of White, Terratone, Sandtone, and Forest Green. Shepley displays many different grille configurations to show homeowners the difference between applied grilles with spacer bar (FDL), the removable grille (REM), or grilles between the glass (GBG). We have a great display that shows the difference between standard 272 LowE4 and 366 SmartSun glass (blocks 95% of the UV rays). Easy Tip to remember about the glass differences: 272=2 layers of LowE with a visible light transmittance of 72%. 366=3 layers of LowE with a visible light transmittance of 66%. We are able to show the Impact Resistant Glass offerings for those projects within the 1 mile high tide water mark as well.
With the incredible water views here on Cape Cod, the Truscene screen is an innovative product your customer must see to believe. Not only is it a high transparency screen, but Truscene also prevents the No-see-um bugs from coming into the room. Truscene screens can also be purchased to retrofit existing AW products for a dramatic home improvement.
Remodeling is a big part of the window market and the Woodwright or Tiltwash Replacement Insert Double Hung are both available in 1/8” increments for exact sash openings. Custom sizing 400 Series Casements and Awnings should be part of your remodeling sales strategy to help save time and material for those unique openings.
The Andersen Architectural A-Series is also on display. Style and performance make this product offering an instant hit with customers and contractors. Having a Performance Grade ranging from 50 to PG70, the A-Series is perfect for our coastal market. The A-Series Coastal impact resistant glass units have the same esthetics as the standard product as well as having the installation jamb clips already applied to the units at the factory. Patio Doors are displayed with the Top Hung Gliding Screen. Homeowners love this innovation – the weight of the screen is hung on a head track and the bottom wheels roll on a track on the sill.
The Interior Prefinished White Birch Bark is meeting the homeowner’s demand of a “brighter white”. The standard Andersen white is available for comparison. The Double Hung traditional easy tilt sash lock comes standard as White, Black, Stone, or Gold dust with upgrades available in Satin Nickel, Oil Rubbed Bronze, Antique and Bright Brass, Distressed Bronze, and Nickel. Casement and awning hardware packs are available in a nice Traditional or Contemporary Folding in the same finishes as well.
We are proud to offer the E-Series Architectural line – you dream it, we make it. 66 exterior colors, with a clear coat finish, should meet any job specifications. If you want the exterior frame, sash, or grilles to be different colors, no problem. No upcharge, Great look. For the interior, you can choose primed, clear pine or mixed grain fir, all for the same price – no upcharge. Casements and awnings come standard with stainless steel hardware – no upcharge. Applied grille widths range from 5/8”, 7/8”, 1-1/2”, 2-1/4”. Larger awning sizes, make for a great kitchen window, letting light in and showing off the Truscene screen. If you have been looking for a clad exterior door with performance and color, take a look at 3⁄4 lite 1 panel door. This is also available with venting sidelights.
Lastly, the Veriloc wireless security sensor on the E-Series windows and doors have been an innovative product that has been recommended by our local Security companies.
