On Thursday, June 4 we had the pleasure of honoring Cape Cod’s graduating Class of 2020 with a flyover from Falmouth to Nauset. We wanted to give the Class of 2020 a shared experience and a special moment to remind them that we are thinking of them. Something entire communities can experience and share together, whether they have a senior or not.
Thanks to the help of Chris Siderwicz at New England Aerial Advertising, an airplane towing 15 feet tall and100 feet long celebratory banner reading “Congratulations Cape Cod Class of 2020” flew all across the Cape and around many local high schools. We had so much fun, we decide to do it again on Saturday, June 13 to honor Nantucket’s Class of 2020 after their social distancing commencement ceremony. The island celebrated with a parade through the middle of town and the trusty Piper Super Cub carrying our congratulatory banner circled overhead. Thank you to New England Aerial Advertising, our local school districts, and countless media partners and community members who helped make the event a roaring success for our graduates.
Congratulations Class of 2020! From all of us at Shepley, we wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors!
