On Thursday, October 16th, at the Ridge Club in Sandwich MA, The Home Builders & Remodelers Association of Cape Cod (HB&RACC) announced the winners of the 2014 Building & Remodeling Industry of Cape Cod (BRICC) Awards. The BRICC Awards recognize excellence in building, remodeling, design, sales and marketing on Cape Cod & the Vineyard, and provide regional, statewide, and national recognition.
Over 200 HB&RACC members chose this festive event over the Patriots/Jets game! Representative Randy Hunt kicked off the evening by awarding Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod with the Non-Profit Partner Award, followed by the Community Impact Award which went to a very deserving Charles Orr of Hutker Architects for his volunteer work with Habitat and other community organizations.
Master of Ceremonies, John Terrio, entertained the crowd as he presented a multitude of glass “brick” trophies, hand crafted by Pairpoint glass in Sandwich.
The final two awards of the evening were presented by representatives of the Diamond Sponsor, Shepley Wood Products’ own Leah Fennell and Ron Winner.
They had the honor of awarding the Project Manager of the Year award to April Ducott of Cape Associates, and the HBRACC Partner in Excellence award to Gail O’Rourke, owner of White Wood Kitchens.
