The HAC Big Fix-A-Thon volunteer event is going VIRTUAL! Due to COVID-19, they can’t volunteer in large groups to help homeowners in need, but you can still can gather virtually, complete individual, socially-distant acts of kindness for our neighbors, and raise funds to help year-rounders stay housed and safe.
WHEN: Saturday, October 3, 2020
WHERE: Big Fix Fundraisers will engage by fundraising online and Big Fix Neighbors will give back Cape-wide by performing an act of kindness for a neighbor in need or for their community.
BIG FIX FUNDRAISER & NEIGHBOR: These individuals are special Big Fix supporters who want to raise funds for Housing Assistance’s Workforce Housing Relief Fund leading up to the event, and are encouraged to perform an act of kindness to give back to a neighbor in need or for their community.

WHAT IS THE WORKFORCE HOUSING RELIEF FUND? In April, Housing Assistance established the Workforce Housing Relief Fund to provide urgent and ongoing assistance with past due rent or mortgage payments or other housing-related expenses to current, year-round Cape Cod and Islands residents who are losing income due to the coronavirus.
