Upstate Door will seal and base coat any exterior door and Shepley will apply the finish coat in whatever color you choose. All exterior wood doors require immediate painting and in our environment, that is not always possible, so consider this option the next time you invest in one of their fine door products.
Although these types of doors will not perform in our most harsh exposures, they can certainly be considered in sheltered exposures. All wood door manufacturers today require an overhang over their doors equal to half of the door height to protect the door to qualify for any warranty.
