Just when you thought that ball, roller, or traditional magnetic catches were the way to go on dummy doors, there is an alternative catching on. Shepley Wood Products is stocking the PLS 24 Pro concealed magnetic catch. Benefits of using a concealed magnetic catch as opposed to a roller or ball catch include longer life due to the magnets not touching, no latch noise when opening and shutting the door, no protruding strike plate like with roller/ball catches and it is incredibly easy to install. The holding strength can be adjusted as required and comes with a foam impact absorption pad to reduce impact noise and bouncing of door on frame when shutting.
